The primary role of the Country Sales Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients for Southeast Asia (S.E.A) region. You will work to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. You will define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
You will work in a senior sales position within the Company, collaborating with the internal team, marketing staff, and other Directors and Managers to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue. In order to achieve this, you will need to find potential new customers, present to them, convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. You will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
You will call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs. You must plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the Company. You must develop a rapport with new clients, set targets for sales, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. You are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
You will work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. You may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, as it is the Country Sales Manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the Company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the Company’s competitors.
What You Need to Have?
Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Marketing, Business or any related discipline. Incumbent must possess at least 7 to 10 years of working experience in the sales or marketing domain for 3PL companies or logistics company with Healthcare vertical, possibly for Southeast Asia (S.E.A) market. He/she must have strong industry experience in prospecting for new clients and converting those efforts into new business. Proven track record managing long sales cycles, complex tenders, and high-value contract negotiations. Strong consultative and analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex logistics data into executive-level insights. High commercial acumen with experience in value-based, solution-led selling. Solid understanding of TMS, WMS, and Supply Chain Control Tower technologies. Established network and strong awareness of the regional logistics and supply chain ecosystem is highly advantageous.
