At Tagvenue, we’re building a marketplace that is redefining how people discover and book venues around the world. We’re a team of highly capable and deeply curious people who care about solving meaningful problems and influencing how the venue-hire market operates globally.
Every month, thousands of events are planned through Tagvenue - from corporate offsites and private dinners to workshops, film productions and weddings. We connect people with unique spaces, matching what users need with the best venues on our marketplace.
About the Role
We’re launching Tagvenue Concierge, a hands-on service for organisers planning bigger events. Instead of searching on their own, they come to us. We find the right venue, negotiate the deal and take them all the way to a confirmed booking.
We’re looking for our first Event Booking Specialist and the face of Tagvenue Concierge for these clients. There’s a lot to figure out and a lot of room to shape how the service works.
It’s an inbound role, so no cold calling and no prospecting.
What You’ll Do
- Own every Concierge enquiry from the first call to a confirmed booking and an event that runs smoothly
- Shortlist the venues that best match each client’s needs, including strong options not yet on Tagvenue
- Negotiate the best possible deal with Venue Managers within the client’s budget
- Present options clearly, arrange site viewings and keep things moving until the date is locked
- Build long-term relationships with clients and grow recurring revenue from repeat events
- Work towards a monthly target of confirmed bookings
- Shape the process and playbook that everyone who joins after you will use
What We’re Looking For
- You know London well. You can tell what suits Shoreditch, Soho or Canary Wharf, usually because you’ve lived or worked there.
- You’ve negotiated before with venues, suppliers or clients and got a better deal without damaging the relationship.
- You have experience with events or venues, whether in hospitality, an events business or a venue finding agency. Organising events as part of another job (office manager, EA or HR) counts too.
- You’re great with people and your English is excellent, spoken and written. You get to what a client really needs on the first call and stay in touch long after the booking.
- You’re organised and commercially minded: happy talking budgets and on top of the details with lots of enquiries on the go.
- You like building things and owning your results, and you’re quick to adopt new tools, AI included.
- A plus: contacts at London venues or experience managing repeat clients.
Don’t tick every box?
If you think you’d be great at this, we’d still love to hear from you.
What Makes Us a Great Place to Work
- Fully remote: work from anywhere, preferably in the UK
- 25 paid days off per year and all bank holidays

Benefits may vary depending on the country you’re based in. We’ll go through the details with you during the recruitment process.
