The Role
- Design and develop paper and cardboard packaging using Adobe Illustrator (or similar software).
- Create physical prototypes and mock-ups, bringing concepts to life from design through to production.
- Adapt designs to meet retailer and brand guidelines.
- Develop an understanding of print processes, dielines and sustainable materials.
- Collaborate with design, production and commercial teams to ensure packaging is functional, commercially viable and creatively engaging.
- Research and explore new sustainable packaging solutions and innovative materials.
- Communicate confidently with clients and overseas suppliers via email, ensuring projects progress smoothly and professionally.
- Assist with general administration and project coordination where required.

Ideal Qualifications
- Good administration, organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence communicating professionally with clients and suppliers by email.
- A passion for design, sustainability and creative problem-solving.
- Natural ability or interest in crafting, model making or working with paper and card.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is beneficial but not essential if you're willing to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail, typography and brand consistency.
- The ability to work in a fast‑paced commercial environment and manage multiple projects.
