The Company: An established Ladies fashion brand, have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join their expanding team.

The Role:

  • Overseeing the production process
  • Able to maintain & work with critical path
  • Planning and monitoring production schedules and altering them when necessary
  • Working closely with in-house sample room team, quality control departments
  • Working closely with fabric suppliers, liaising with fabric bulk deliveries
  • Creating and executing daily, weekly production schedules
  • Managing all communication with factories to ensure daily clarity production status update
  • Working on all required/requested testing on all bulk test reports and approvals
  • Managing relationship with factory, identifying and troubleshooting costing/quality control challenges along with design and resolving with vendors
  • Ensuring quality is always high standards are maintained across all ranges
  • Ensuring production is cost effective
  • Strategically managing vendors to make sure sample deadlines are met
  • Making sure deliveries are met & are of the highest quality
  • Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
  • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
  • Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment, ensuring we are always using the safest and best quality for our teams
  • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes
  • Liaising among different departments e.g. Design, Merchandising etc.
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Supervising and motivating the team
