Benefits:

  • This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
  • Finish at 3pm on a Friday with core hour working flexibility.

Duties:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of product demand planning, working closely with customers and internal teams (such as sales, product development, and logistics) to forecast product needs.
  • Use data analysis to monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability, reducing the risk of both out of stock and overstocks.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales teams to ensure product availability supports seasonal forecasts and promotional activities.
  • Deliver actionable data insights to the business, analysing product performance to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the accurate input and management of monthly sales forecasts, customer stock uploads and related reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient placement of supplier purchase orders in line with deadlines.
  • Oversee and manage the critical path, coordinating timelines and ensuring all stages of production and delivery are on schedule.
  • Liaise with suppliers to proactively resolve issues related to order/production delays, ensuring minimal impact on original ship dates.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Strong knowledge of critical path purchase order management and liaising with factories.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and direct dispatch processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or similar data management tools.
  • Experience with supply chain management and logistics.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management.
