The Company: Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Experienced /Senior Menswear Designer to join a busy design team. Our client is a highly respected, trend lead global supplier of private label and branded products, looking to strengthen their team with a creative Designer. You will ideally have 4 + years of experience ready for your next exciting career challenge.

The Role: Developing seasonal stock collections across several in-house menswear brands. Working to customer briefs to present relevant collections that satisfy their style and colour direction for both UK & global contract customers. Creating technical packs for initial sample development and fine tuning with colourway options for production. Creating profiles for ordered styles on our PLMS database for orders to be raised by our merchandise department. Liaising with our China and Bangladesh offices, senior management, sales, garment technologists and merchandisers.

Skills Required: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role, knitwear experience is essential. Strong creative design skills. Excellent Illustrator CAD skills. Strong communication and experience of working with Global suppliers. Sound knowledge of knitting times, yarn counts and gauges. Commercially aware with a good eye to adapt high street trends and colour. Exceptionally well organised with good attention to detail. Able to work as part of a team.
