A fantastic opportunity for an Experienced Account Manager to join a growing fashion high street supplier with a successful ladies clothing supplier & brand. This is an exciting role within the business for a hardworking and career minded individual to join a fun, fast paced team. The company work with retailers including ASOS, Matalan & New Look. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role working across Import & Branded Fashion. Also happy to recruit a junior with career ambition.
The Role:
- Supporting the Senior Account Manager working on key customer accounts across multiple product areas.
- Attending customer meetings and follow up.
- Creation of cost sheets & order handover spreadsheets
- Maintaining and updating information in costing sheets
- Negotiation with factories on prices, quantity and delivery requirements.
- Support the senior account manager on arranging travel and itineraries for meetings.
- Working with suppliers from development to order placement.
- Supporting the merch team were necessary with admin duties.
- Liaising with the design team on garment construction and materials.
- Liaising with Customers in negotiations, order management and face to face meetings.
Skills Required:
- Must have some experience in a similar role.
- Ideally have a degree
- Ideally have some knowledge on garment construction – denim, knits, outerwear, softs & jersey.
- Possess an understanding of the dynamics of a contract driven supplier business.
- Be highly organized and can handle a busy workload.
- Possess strong excel and word skills.
- A team player, proactive, methodical and organized.
- Has attention to detail and understanding of critical deadlines.
