The Company:
A fast fashion online clothing brand are looking to recruit a Buyers/Wholesale Admin to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop as an BAA in a growing business. You will be responsible for ensuring the critical buying path is achieved and that order management and sampling processes run to schedule. We are seeking a candidate with a strong product knowledge & experience across womenswear.
The Role:
- Understanding product trends and interpreting them where relevant into product areas
- Monitoring Critical Path on Commitment to ensure intake and distribution targets are met
- Attending Fit sessions in the Buyers absence give styling comments
- Managing Supplier relationships
- Negotiating and liaising with Suppliers.
- Understanding of reports and actions that may need to be taken from Trade
- Managing critical path with suppliers and buyers.
- Dealing with issues arising with orders both internally and externally
- Sample Management
- On-going familiarity of the competition's product range
- Other duties as required.
Skills Required:
- Have a good understanding of fashion trends and knowledge of the high street.
- IT skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
- Good interpersonal / communication skills.
- Numerical and analytical skills.
- Customer knowledge and a strong fashion eye
- The capability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
