The Company: An enthusiastic Assistant Merchandiser is needed to join a rapidly growing Online Ladies Fashion Retailer & Brand. You will maximise sales and profit through the effective management of stock by analysing, forecasting and trading product for their already successful online offering. The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

The Role:

  • Work closely with the Merchandiser.
  • Compiling and analysing stock and sales reports.
  • Forecasting stock and sales.
  • Weekly reporting of inventory levels.
  • Knowledge of products and management of life cycles.
  • Analysing market trends and have good seasonal awareness.
  • Monitoring best & worst sellers then making recommendations on markdowns.
  • Working with markdown strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Assist with planning in promotional activity.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Chasing suppliers & Far East factories.
  • Managing supply chain.
  • Responsible for updating the Critical Path.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills Required:

  • MUST have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft including the use of Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Possess a flair for spotting commercial opportunities.
  • Think critically about existing processes.
  • Be passionate about fashion.
