The Company:
We are currently recruiting experienced Graduate Pattern Cutter join an established company working with a variety of high street retailers including Asos and Riverisland. Graduated welcome.
Duties include:
- Working on products from first pattern to finish.
- Attending fit meetings and liaising with Clients
- Measuring and checking samples.
- Improving fit and manufacturing standards.
- Maintaining relationships with Designers and Garment Technologists.
- Reading sketches from Designers.
- Completing spec sheets etc.
- Providing technical finishing ideas.
Skills Required:
- Manual pattern cutting experience
- Confident to deal with Fast fashion clients
- Worked for a busy high street supplier within a fast-paced environment.
- Keen eye for shape.
- Strong understanding of trends and Designer requirements.
- Good commercial awareness and knowledge of garment construction.
- Understanding of how to make patterns mass production friendly.
- Proven ability to work successfully within a team to meet tight deadlines.
