Our client – a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business based in Leicester – is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its’ team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Production of management accounts
- Supervision of a small team
- Control account reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Accruals & prepayments
- Inventory controls
- Managing fixed assets register
- General ledger, incl. journal preparation & posting
- VAT returns
- Assist with completion of month-end, ad-hoc weekly / monthly reporting
The Right Person
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Ideally with experience of imports & exports
- Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Able to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team within a large organisation
- Excellent planning, organisation skills and adherence to tight deadline
- Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models), Sage, Xero and MS Dynamics 365 (ERP)
