An established fashion supplier is looking for a dynamic and passionate Ecommerce Executive to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving the growth of our D2C and Amazon stores by optimising listings, analysing performance data, and implementing innovative strategies. This is a part-time role (30 hours) with flexible working.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management, optimisation, and trading of our D2C websites.
- Oversee product listings, pricing, and inventory management on Amazon Seller Central.
- Analyse performance data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability.
- Merchandising sites: maintaining stock and optimising customer experience.
- Execute product uploads, category builds, and content maintenance.
- Coordinate onsite promotions and campaigns.
- Monitor and optimise user behaviour across websites to improve conversion.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies: keyword research, page optimisation, and content.
- Generate daily, weekly, and ad hoc reports in line with business requirements.
- Test new website features and functionality, assist in deployment to live environments.
- Identify website issues and collaborate with the web development agency.
- Support the Customer Service team with website-related queries.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an ecommerce role, preferable in the retail industry.
- Experience of Magento and Shopify or other website management systems.
- Experience of Amazon Seller Central and other marketplaces desirable, but not essential.
- Competent user of MS applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong copywriting skills, with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiar with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of basic HTML would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially minded – Strong understanding of Ecommerce best practice and trends.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Passion for the retail industry and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
