Company Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Designer to join an exciting and dynamic company that designs and manufactures ladies, mens and childrens accessories for the UK high street retailers.

Role

  • Design and draw new spring-summer collections from concept to development for ladies, mens and childrens eyewear.
  • Conduct style, trend forecasting and research.
  • Analyze trends and create mood boards to translate season themes into trend presentations for internal use and customers.
  • Collaborate with account managers to identify relevant trends, ensuring they are translated into the product.
  • Support product development through drawings, sampling and briefing.
  • Liaise with factories in the Far East.

Skills Required

  • 3 years of relevant and proven industry experience.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (3D software beneficial).
  • Passion for accessories and fashion design.
  • Style and trend forecasting skills.
  • Understanding of graphic design and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving.
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team player and enthusiastic.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and think ahead.
  • Ability to work under pressure caused by seasonal concentration of activity.
