Our client is a highly respected, trend lead global supplier of private label and branded products, looking to strengthen their team with a creative Designer. You will ideally have 1+ years of experience ready for your next exciting career challenge and a passion for knitwear. The Role: * Developing seasonal stock collections across several in-house menswear brands. * Working to customer briefs to present relevant collections that satisfy their style and colour direction for both UK & global contract customers. * Creating technical packs for initial sample development and fine tuning with colourway options for production. * Creating profiles for ordered styles on our PLMS database for orders to be raised by our merchandise department. * Liaising with our China and Bangladesh offices, senior management, sales, garment technologists and merchandisers. Skills Required: * Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role, knitwear experience is essential. * Strong creative design skills. * Excellent Illustrator CAD skills. * Strong communication and experience of working with Global suppliers. * Sound knowledge of knitting times, yarn counts and gauges. * Commercially aware with a good eye to adapt high street trends and colour. * Exceptionally well organised with good attention to detail. * Able to work as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
