The Company:
We are reaching out to find a talented Apparel Graphic Designer who has a passion for design delivering high quality graphics with the ambition to help grow the business with relevant customers. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and have previous experience in the fashion industry.
Responsibilities
- Creation of seasonal, trend led graphics in line with brief and budget
- Works closely with the design team to inspire buyers and build strong, long term relationships
- Sound knowledge of print techniques/graphic styles with ability to produce professional graphics ready to send to the factory
- Understanding sales and cost-effective graphic design
- Excellent knowledge of high street retailers, ability to research current and new trends to present leading trends to the customer
- Communication daily with customers, designers, merchandisers and development team in the factory if needed
- Responsible for arranging and attending meetings with key accounts
- Taking ideas from concept, creating initial specifications through to production of initial samples with the design team
- Manage all print and embroidery technique development
- Confident in a fast-paced design environment working to critical path, delegating tasks if needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design or related field or relevant work experience
- Will have experience in men’s, ladies, boys and girls
- Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Highly organised with problem solving skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Maintaining high standards and ensuring the best work is delivered/presented and deadlines met
- 2-3 years as a designer in a similar industry
