The Company: An exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser / Demand Planner to join a fast-moving supply chain team. We are looking for someone with experience in trend and forecast analysis within a retail or wholesale environment. Ability to interpret information & make decisions to maximise service levels and stock efficiency. Responsibilities
- Responsible for forecasting and sales analysis for a given range
- Analyse weekly/monthly/yearly sales to identify trends
- Manage stock to maximise availability, whilst reducing discontinued exposure
- Raise any supply/service issues in good time to management
- Support range planning in conjunction with category teams
- Plan initial buys for new lines
- Create/maintain weekly excel based stock sheets
- Raise factory purchase orders
- Approve bookings for shipments
- Liaise with internal teams: Category Teams, Shipping, Operations, Finance
- Work closely with the Customer and attend Customer meetings as required
- Assist in development and growth of business
