Role Purpose
The Brand Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the brands assigned to them, with the support of the internal team. The role involves managing and developing strong relationships between the brands and Fashion UK, while driving the commercial performance of each brand by working closely with the Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand & Relationship Management
- Manage and maintain strong, productive relationships between Fashion UK and the brands within the assigned portfolio.
- Act as the key point of contact for brands, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration across all relevant teams.
- Support the development and growth of brands within Fashion UK.
- Minimum Guarantee (MG) Management
- Take ownership of ensuring Minimum Guarantees (MGs) are fully recouped.
- Monitor sales performance against contractual commitments and proactively identify any potential shortfalls.
- Work closely with Sales and Finance to develop plans to maximise revenue and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Contracts & Administration
- Manage contract negotiations with brands and ensure all relevant agreements and paperwork are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date records of contracts, commercial terms and key brand information.
- Liaise with relevant internal teams to ensure contractual requirements are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Sales Support & Brand Information
- Ensure the Sales team has all necessary information, tools and resources required to effectively sell each brand.
- Provide clear updates on brand strategy, product ranges, pricing, commercial terms, launches and key selling points.
- Act as a link between the brand and Sales team to ensure opportunities are maximised.
- Order & Sales Pipeline Management
- Work closely with the Sales team to monitor current and pipeline orders.
- Regularly follow up on opportunities and ensure agreed actions are progressed.
- Track sales performance and provide visibility on potential business, risks and opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and strengthen the commercial performance of the brands.
- Commercial Performance
- Take ownership of the overall commercial performance of the assigned brand portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and internal teams to achieve revenue, margin and brand growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities that support both Fashion UK and brand objectives.
