This role is with a growing global supplier of private label and branded fashion products, seeking an Assistant Menswear Designer with at least one year of experience and a strong passion for knitwear. The successful candidate will support the design team by developing trend-led menswear collections for both in-house brands and international customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design seasonal menswear knitwear collections for multiple brands.
  • Create customer-focused collections based on briefs, trends, and colour direction.
  • Produce technical packs and colourways for sample development and production.
  • Upload and manage product information on the PLMS database.
  • Collaborate with overseas offices, merchandisers, garment technologists, sales teams, and senior management.

Key skills and requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar menswear design role.
  • Essential knitwear knowledge, including yarns, gauges, and knitting techniques.
  • Strong creative design ability and excellent Adobe Illustrator CAD skills.
  • Good understanding of commercial fashion trends and colour.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
