Our client is an established consumer-products business supplying household and related products to major UK and international retailers. As part of their continued growth, they are investing in our direct-to-consumer and online marketplace channels. They are seeking an experienced, commercially minded E-commerce & Marketplace Manager to take ownership of their online trading activity and help accelerate profitable growth. The Role Manage day-to-day trading, product content, promotions and merchandising across the website and Shopify store. Create and optimise product pages, collections, navigation, bundles and landing pages. Coordinate product launches, pricing, stock visibility and promotional activity with internal teams. Monitor website performance and resolve integration, product-feed and content issues. Identify opportunities to improve traffic quality, conversion, average order value and customer retention. Manage Amazon Seller Central and any ongoing Vendor Central activity. Create and optimise listings, variations, keywords, attributes, imagery and A+ Content. Plan, manage and optimise Amazon PPC campaigns. Monitor account health, catalogue issues, customer feedback and marketplace compliance. Manage promotions, pricing and stock availability while protecting margins and maintaining consistent brand presentation. Research and assess additional marketplace opportunities where commercially appropriate. Research keywords, competitor activity, customer search behaviour and marketplace trends. Improve product titles, bullet points, descriptions, search terms and metadata. Establish and maintain consistent product-content standards across all channels. Optimise product content to improve search visibility, engagement and conversion. Collaborate with design and product teams to develop effective imagery, video and enhanced content. Set up, manage and develop TikTok Shop. Manage product catalogues, integrations, promotions, pricing and shop health. Develop affiliate and creator activity, including outreach, product seeding, commission structures and performance tracking. Support campaigns, product launches and live-selling activity. Monitor GMV, conversion, returns, affiliate contribution and profitability. Occasional TikTok Live presenting would be desirable but is not essential. Coordinate light customer-service support for website and marketplace orders. Ensure customer questions, complaints, returns and reviews are handled accurately and promptly. Monitor customer response times, review trends, return rates and issue resolution. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to products, listings and operational processes. Work with internal teams to ensure product content, inventory information and product claims remain accurate. Maintain clear operating processes and documentation for each sales channel. Commercial Reporting & Performance Produce concise weekly and monthly reports covering sales, margin, traffic, conversion, advertising and overall channel performance. Prepare forecasts, explain variances and recommend practical actions. Manage channel and advertising budgets with a focus on profitable growth. Monitor competitor pricing, rankings, promotions and product launches. Track TikTok Shop GMV, conversion, affiliate contribution, campaign effectiveness and customer feedback. Present clear, commercially focused recommendations to senior management. Requirements: At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in e-commerce, marketplace management or digital trading. Strong practical experience using Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform. Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, including catalogue management, account health and operational requirements. Proven experience improving product listings through keyword research, marketplace SEO and conversion-focused content. Experience managing Amazon PPC or comparable performance-marketing campaigns. A strong commercial understanding of revenue, margin, conversion, ROAS and ACOS. Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills, with the ability to turn data into practical trading decisions. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience setting up or growing TikTok Shop. Experience with TikTok affiliates, creators, campaigns or livestream commerce. Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central, Brand Registry, A+ Content or FBA. Familiarity with marketplace feeds, integrations, Shopify apps, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Centre, email marketing or paid social. Experience within FMCG, household products, home fragrance, beauty or similar consumer categories.
