Role Responsibilities

  • Design Systems Ownership: Build and maintain scalable, component-based design systems in Figma using Auto Layout, variables, and nested components to ensure speed and consistency across multiple clients.
  • Daily Output: Deliver 2-3 polished, high-performing email designs each day that balance exceptional visual quality with effective direct-response principles.
  • Email-First Thinking: Design with the inbox in mind—understanding rendering limitations, mobile responsiveness, and dark mode nuances.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing managers to interpret briefs and hand off organized, ready-to-build design files.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure every design reflects the client's identity while introducing fresh, creative ideas.

Requirements

  • Figma Expertise: Strong mastery of Auto Layout, component libraries, and system-based design workflows.
  • Email Understanding: Knowledge of email rendering, responsive layouts, and dark mode considerations.
  • Portfolio of Work: A portfolio demonstrating clean, conversion-driven email design for established eCommerce or DTC brands.
  • Systemic Thinking: A proactive mindset that favors building reusable systems over repetitive tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with clear design rationale and attention to detail.
  • Availability: Ability to collaborate with a team working on GMT hours (minimum 4-hour overlap).
  • Experience designing in Klaviyo or Stripo.
