The Company: An excellent opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a successful FMCG company working with Blue Chip Retailers managing their Brands. This is an exciting role in a fast growing, fashion forward company. We are ideally looking for someone with experience of supply chain/ merchandising to build on.

The Role:

  • Liaising with various departments across the business such as Accounts, Design, Sales, Shipping, etc in order to maintain the critical path in line with the product ranges.
  • Daily liaison with the factories to ensure a continuous flow of information is in place throughout the business.
  • Product code setup – including updating info into master sheet or system if possible.
  • Opal artwork – creating barcodes.
  • Keying sample orders.
  • Keying customer online orders and adding figures to sales tracker.
  • Keying purchase orders / CA / carton marks.
  • Requesting orders.
  • Accurate filing of all records within product / order folder and CA.
  • Updating critical path.
  • Raising non stock POs.
  • Email follow up.
  • Monthly stock count of collateral.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is ideal.
  • Previous experience liaising with and building relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage a busy work load with targeted deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Previous experience managing a critical path.
