A great opportunity for a Book Keeper to join a small, friendly and successful team. The role will be very varied reporting to the MD and Accountant working with International and UK customers. We are looking for an experienced Book Keeper who can adapt with training to pick up on specific company procedures. Excellent company culture.

The Role:

Using Sage and Genesis:
-
Purchase ledger, Checking and processing invoices and credits, Monthly pay run.

Sales Ledger, Checking and processing invoices and credits, Debt chasing, Processing sales orders.

Entering online sales, raising foreign invoices and putting together B/L, packing list and CO (training will be given), Credit checks on customers, Legal action for none paying customers.

Stock, Update bond book (training will be given), Enter stock on systems when stock arrive (training will be given), Dispatch stock from (training will be given)

Banking, Daily bank reconciliation, Daily cash flow updating and producing, Working with GBS, Euro and USD currencies, Payments of P11D, PAYE/NIC and Corporation Tax,

Month End Procedures, reconcile bank accounts, reconcile vat, reconcile purchase ledger, reconcile sales ledger, Produce P & L, balance sheet for director, analysis and reporting for sales.

Payroll analysis and input on to sage.

VAT returns

Vat returns quarterly for two companies GBP, Irish vat return, Postponed VAT

Other Duties

Adhoc office duties/ First aid (course will be provided)/ Ensure all health and safety files certificates are up to date.

Ensure all risk assessments are completed and up to date.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of Sage and Excel

Can do attitude & be keen to get stuck in, you will be part of a small stable team, who work well together.
