The Company: We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Assistant Menswear Designer to join a busy design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Jerseywear and trend-led fashion who is keen to develop their career within a fast-paced supplier environment. The successful candidate will support key accounts, working closely with the Senior Designer, you will help create commercially strong, best-selling ranges tailored to the handwriting and customer profile of each retailer. Key elements of role are as follows: * Supporting the Senior Designer in developing commercial jerseywear ranges * Researching and identify the latest fashion and retail trends, translating them into relevant design direction. * Creating inspiring trend direction boards covering colour, shape, fabric and styling details. * Conducting retailer-specific trend and competitor research to inform design decisions. * Assisting in identifying new fabric developments and market opportunities, working closely with the factory team to realise fabric newness. * Preparing for customer meetings by compiling research packs, CADs, fabric swatches and garment samples. * Attending customer presentations and design meetings alongside the Designer, assisting with note-taking and follow-up actions. * Drawing and amend CADs using Adobe Illustrator. * Creating accurate and detailed tech packs following customer ...
