The predicted salary is between 19100 - 22500 £ per year.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00
Salary: £23,100- £26,250 per annum (depending upon experience)
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Based at Lookers Stoke BMW, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly team. You will report directly to our Market Area Accountant and will cover all aspects of Purchase Ledger for all of our Stoke dealerships within the Group.
Our Purchase Ledger Clerks are fundamental within our Accounting department; without them our essential documentation wouldn’t be processed on time! It is essential they build strong lasting relations with our internal Management teams as well as external customers and work at pace whilst maintaining accuracy.
- Registering and Passing Invoices
- Maintaining Accounts & Reviewing POA's
- Maintaining company’s purchase ledger
- Reconciling supplier accounts & statements and processing payment
- Ensuring all documents are processed on time, accurately and fully
- Liaising with internal management and external customers
- Assisting with closedown of Purchase ledger at month end
The ideal candidate will have a background within Purchase Ledger or an Accounts department and show excellent computer literacy. An individual who has worked within the Motor industry would also be ideal, however not essential. You will possess organisational abilities as well as excellent communication; this will enable you to build lasting relationships with customers as well as your fellow team members. Furthermore, you will cope well under pressure meaning you can meet tight deadlines with ease.
