The Touring team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, end-to-end services to its clients. As a Tour Assistant, you will provide essential support across administrative and financial tasks, helping the team maintain exceptional standards. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, personalised service, tailored to the individual needs of each client. This role will involve supporting the coordination and execution of tour travel logistics, ensuring all arrangements are delivered in line with both company and client policies. The Tour Assistant position forms part of a structured development pathway, offering clear progression towards becoming a Tour Coordinator.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide a support and administration service to the team in fulfilling all aspects of client tour requests
- Create basic tour movement sheets ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout
- Book basic travel arrangements with supervision as requested
- Help design and create detailed PowerPoint presentations for artist hotels
- Use the functions of GDS and other applicable system tools or software implemented at TAG
- Support negotiations to get the best rates from suppliers in order to maximise savings, reduce client expenditure and increase company profitability
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year Travel & Tourism experience via work or education
- Proven record of working in a service (preferably touring) environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
