Position Summary
Reporting to the EMEA MD, the Head of Operational Excellence is responsible for leading operational excellence, capability development and transformation across the EMEA region for Tag Worldwide, a leading provider of Channel Activation (Print Management & Sourcing) services. The Head of Operational Excellence plays a central role in shaping and evolving Tag’s proposition, operational capabilities and commercial delivery models to meet the needs of large multinational clients. This includes ensuring that Tag continues to deliver highly efficient, scalable and high-quality marketing production and sourcing services across multiple markets.
A key responsibility of the role is to help accelerate Tag’s transformation into an AI-led Channel Activation business, leveraging automation, technology and artificial intelligence to enable highly efficient scaled production while improving the performance and effectiveness of clients’ content across media channels.
Working closely with the EMEA leadership team, the Head of Operational Excellence will design and implement the operational models, production workflows, technology integrations and global delivery frameworks that underpin Tag’s service offering. The Head of Operational Excellence will ensure that the organization continues to evolve its capabilities to support increasing demand for high-volume, multi-channel retail activation.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within marketing production, marketing supply chain, sourcing, or related operational environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Creative Production operations, print/POSM sourcing, or large-scale marketing delivery environments.
- Proven experience developing operational models that support multinational client delivery.
- Strong experience driving business transformation and operational innovation, including the adoption of technology, automation and AI-driven production solutions.
- Experience building scalable global sourcing capabilities.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience contributing to regional P&L performance.
- Demonstrated success leading large operational teams and complex delivery organizations.
- Experience supporting major new business opportunities and designing operational solutions for complex client engagements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across senior leadership teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence - taking large data sets from multiple sources to craft insights and actionable strategy.

Operational Leadership
- Provide executive leadership for the operational delivery of Tag’s Channel Activation services across the EMEA region.
- Develop and implement scalable operational and production models that support the needs of multinational clients.
- Ensure operational consistency, quality and efficiency across regional and global delivery teams.
- Establish best-practice production workflows and delivery frameworks across marketing content production and sourcing operations.
- Oversee operational governance, service delivery performance and operational risk management.
- Ensure delivery teams operate in line with Tag’s operational standards, KPIs and service level agreements.
Transformation and Capability Development
- Lead the evolution of Tag’s operational capabilities to support the company’s strategic growth ambitions.
- Accelerate the transformation of Tag into an AI-enabled channel activation business.
- Drive the adoption of automation, AI technologies and workflow innovation to improve production efficiency and scale.
- Develop new operational capabilities that support emerging client needs in areas such as high-volume omnichannel marketing execution.
- Partner with technology and product teams to integrate new tools and platforms that enhance service delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and improve Tag’s production models to ensure they remain competitive and future-focused.
Commercial Strategy
- Support the development of client-facing propositions and service offerings that reflect evolving client needs and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with the EMEA leadership teams to design operational solutions that support client growth.
- Support major new business opportunities by designing operational delivery models and production frameworks for prospective clients.
- Ensure operational capabilities support the cross-selling of Creative Production and Channel Activation services.
- Partner with commercial teams to develop scalable and profitable service models.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop the operational leadership community across the EMEA region.
- Build and maintain high-performing operational teams capable of delivering world-class production and sourcing services.
- Recruit, develop and retain senior operational leaders across the organization.
