The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our team. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and working with the team to provide solutions. As an integral part of the team you will focus on driving revenue growth by selling our services and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Client acquisition: Identify potential new clients across multiple industries to generate new business opportunities.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain long term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for their needs.
- Needs assessment: Recognise client’s needs and present solutions whilst also identifying opportunities to cross sell our services.
- Market knowledge: Stay up to date on company’s products, services and market trends to provide clients with valuable insight and solutions.
- Proposal development: Work with the wider team to prepare and present bespoke proposals in response to a client’s brief, whilst showcasing our services.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients ensuring mutual satisfaction and profitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, creative, production and account management) to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and revenue forecasts in CRM tools.
- Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to build our brand presence and establish connections with potential clients.
Requirements
- Must have three years experience working on the business development of business within the advertising and creative industry.
- Strong understanding of the creative and advertising industry with a particular enthusiasm for film, photography and post-production and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clients.
- Comfortable working independently on tasks as well as part of a team.
- Results orientated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
