  • Build titles, lower thirds, and light motion graphics calling on more advanced animation tools for involved animation
  • Work from creative briefs, scripts, and reference edits to produce on-brand, high-quality cuts
  • Colour correct and grade footage to a broadcast-ready standard, or prepare timelines for hand-off to a specialist grader
  • Source, sync, and mix music, voiceover, and sound effects to support the edit
  • Manage multiple versions and cutdowns of assets across formats and aspect ratios (broadcast, social, digital, etc.)
  • Maintain organised project files and adhere to studio naming and folder conventions
  • Collaborate with motion designers, CGI artists, and producers to ensure a smooth handover of assets and consistent visual quality
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within editing projects, including codecs, rendering, and export problems
  • Take on feedback from Creative Directors and stakeholders, iterating quickly and accurately
  • Keep up to date with new tools, plugins, and techniques within editing and motion graphics

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Video/Motion Editor, ideally within a production, post-production, luxury, fashion, jewellery, or creative studio environment
  • Strong proficiency in professional video editing software, including experience with multicam, proxy workflows, colour tools, and professional post-production workflows
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics and animation software for titling and light motion graphics
  • Solid understanding of pacing, structure, and storytelling in the edit
  • Working knowledge of professional creative and post-production tools
  • Comfortable with basic audio mixing and sound design
  • Strong showreel demonstrating editing range across formats and genres
  • Good communication skills and ability to take direction from Creative Directors and Producers
