The Touring team aims to deliver comprehensive and high-quality services to its clients. The Tour Specialist has responsibility for the fulfilment of TAG’s smaller touring client accounts, managing all tour and travel logistics in accordance with company and client policies. This position ensures the highest possible standards are always delivered with a personalised and individual approach to each client. The role of Tour Specialist works within a wider development plan with the aim of progressing to become a Senior Tour Specialist.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Fulfil all requests for TAG’s smaller tour client accounts.
- Formulate logistical itinerary plans within client budgets and create tour movement sheets ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout.
- Respond to queries and book travel arrangements, keeping all relevant records accurately updated.
- Design and create detailed PowerPoint presentations for artist hotels.
- Action and complete GDS and PNR tasks, TAG Desktop files, and any other applicable system tools or software implemented at TAG.
- Negotiate best rates from suppliers to maximise savings, reduce client expenditure and increase company profitability.
- Seek assistance and guidance from Senior Tour Specialists and Touring management teams as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Education to Degree level or higher OR In lieu of education – equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- 2+ years travel management experience, preferably in Touring.
- GDS experience, preferably Galileo.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
