Commissions Supervisor Overview:
The Commissions Supervisor is responsible for leading the Commissions Controllers team to ensure accurate and timely processing of commissions. The role focuses on driving improvements in commissions performance and processes, as well as reducing overdue and bad debts, to support the company’s financial objectives and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Allocate workload for the Commissions Team
- Manage the UK Commissions Aged Debt and escalate to management as appropriate
- Monitor performance and mentor individuals on Commissions Team
- Set targets on 90+ days debt
- Ensure the commissions inbox is kept up to date with allocated days for team
- Handle queries to resolution
- Accurately maintain banking in line with monthly deadlines
- Reconciliate Onyx and TACS in a timely manner to assist bank reconciliation
- Collaborate with the MI team on process improvements and testing as required
- Remain an expert in the commissions field and stay comprehensively knowledgeable in the Travel, Entertainment and Events industries
Qualifications:
- Recognised accounting qualification or training
- Experience in credit control and collections
- Experience in financial reconciliation
- Accounting experience within the travel industry
- Working knowledge of Travcom or other travel finance packages
- Proven record of succeeding in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate/advanced use of Excel and other MS Office software
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Experience in Business Partnering
- Experience in managing Supplier Relationships
