Location: Working from home with 1 day per week in London office

Reports to: Global Design and Experience Director, Expert Marketing Global Creative Partner

Background: Tag are a leading global Creative Production business supporting the communication demands of many of the top 100 brands. GSK/Haleon Consumer Health have been working with Tag for the past 6 years with an expansive scope of work across sourcing, design and shopper marketing. As part of the expanded service remit, Tag support the Haleon Expert marketing team with a dedicated creative resource, based on and off site, to deliver a range of design services.

Requirements of the role:

  • The role has a strong bias towards digital, approximately 80% of the work and outputs will be in a digital format.
  • As a Senior Designer you will be expected to work across a broad range of Expert Marketing projects including social posts, video cut downs, infographics, web portal content, email, identity and some printed media.
  • You will be responsible for the generation of concepts, visual design, typography and preparation of final presentations to clients.
  • You will need to have an active interest in marketing and be able to deliver commercially focused creative work to the highest design standards.
  • You’ll be expected to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, presenting work and persuasively articulating your ideas.

Core responsibilities:

  • Able to think laterally, creating multiple solutions to a given design/marketing brief.
  • Understand and deliver a best practice approach to creative projects.
  • Be pro-active, inquisitive and challenging at all times.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Manage creative projects from brief through to production with the support of the Global Design Director.
  • Develop & maintain a strong relationship with internal and client teams, and consistently strive to exceed their expectations.
  • Understand client’s business and the way the client works.
  • Manage client expectations and build a reputation for creativity.
  • Support and manage other team members in the pursuit of delivering the highest standard of service to the client.
  • Gain trust, authority and respect from the client at all times.
  • Challenge creative briefs and set timings for project stages.
  • Attend and be punctual to all relevant meetings with clients.
  • Maintain composure under pressure.
  • Take full accountability for your work to ensure that deadlines are met and implementation is to a high standard.
  • Be an advocate for both the Tag and Haleon businesses.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years experience working within design.
  • Some experience working within the healthcare sector would be preferable.
  • Experience of print design beneficial.
  • Design degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly and confidently present your work in front of both internal team members and external clients.
  • Experience of design and creating multi-channel content across print and digital formats.
  • Know and understand the client’s organisation and market.
  • Ability to juggle numerous tasks at once and deliver all effectively.
  • Understanding of latest design trends and digital technology.
  • Be proactive and take initiative to get things done.
  • Works as a strong team player.
  • Good planning and organising skills.
  • Proven self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to look and act professional at all times (business and social with clients).
  • Display confidentiality at all times with regards to Haleon and Tag businesses.
  • Expertise in Adobe CC, specifically After Effects. Figma experience would be desirable but not essential.
