Tag are part of the Dentsu Network, a leading creative and media organisation that supports many of the top 100 brands worldwide. The client have been working with Tag for the past 9 years with an expansive scope of work across Design, Commerce and Expert Marketing. Their portfolio of local and global power brands includes Sensodyne, Pronamel, Paradontax and Polident in the oral health category with the OTC side of the business supporting Voltaren, Otrivin and Panadol.
As a Medical Copywriter you’ll be responsible for navigating and deciphering scientific language and translating this into compelling, emotive copy for a range of professional medical audiences. You will have strong scientific knowledge and be confident communicating with clients that have medical experience and backgrounds.
You will need to have an active interest in healthcare marketing, trends, competitor landscape and able to translate this understanding into commercially focused creative work of the highest standard. Projects will span across categories with outputs ranging from concepts, long and short copy for digital and social channels, EDA’s, Portal content and email comms.
We’re really looking for a self-starter, someone who wants to be involved in defining the brief, working directly with client's Expert category stakeholders and closely with the design teams across a multitude of projects.
- Interpret scientific data relating to a product and translate this information into the context of compelling promotional stories
- Inform colleagues of the science behind products, and be able to contribute towards medical-related discussions with clients
- Find stories in data and tell those stories in everyday language
- Work alongside designers and Project Management to inform the creation of engaging and accurate visual presentations
At least 5-7 years of experience in medical copywriting, in the healthcare marketing and communications sector
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific field (biology, medicine) and/or communications
Proficiency in all Microsoft products
