This is an exciting opportunity to join an iconic brand in the UK subsidiary reporting to the Managing Director of LVMH Watch & Jewellery UK. The successful candidate will drive local execution of all global marketing programs including sponsoring, events, digital e-commerce, media, PR, and Trade Marketing to amplify TAG Heuer brand awareness and desirability in the local market. Furthermore, you will contribute to the UK brand and business strategy aligned with global objectives. You are responsible for the leadership and development of 3 direct reports and 3 indirect reports, you will lead the Marketing team in delivering the brand plan, contributing to the significant success of the brand in the UK, one of the leading markets for the brand globally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver the global brand strategy for the UK market through the leverage of local initiatives
  • Deliver the annual business brand plan and annual budget, against global and local brand objectives
  • Direct, manage and monitor the support and efforts of the marketing, Events, PR, digital and trade marketing teams in the application of the annual marketing plan
  • Lead and drive the activation of sponsorship agreements, with 360 marketing plans including Goodwood FOS, Oracle Red Bull Racing, F1, Porsche, and Friends of the Brand
  • Implement and manage annual media strategy with support of media agencies
  • Deliver PR strategy, ensuring strong implementation and management of external PR agency
  • Deliver trade and retail marketing strategy with support of trade marketing and sales teams
  • Lead the engagement of retail partners for annual marketing collaboration and co-op marketing plans
  • Ensure perfect representation of brand within all promotional/retailer materials
  • Monitor competitor activities (media, POS, training, incentives)
  • Continually monitor performance and effectiveness of the brand in terms of sales, advertising, PR, digital and trade marketing activities and attend and contribute to monthly brand meetings
  • Ensure perfect implementation of the brand philosophy and position in the UK
  • Manage, motivate and support performance and training of marketing team and effectively carry out half yearly appraisals
  • Cross functional lead with HQ marketing / DCX / CRM and Retail team
  • Responsible for the annual marketing budget

E-Commerce

  • Grow and positively portray the image of TAG Heuer through the website in the UK.
  • Implement the digital marketing strategy, delivering an integrated annual plan in conjunction with the global strategy.
  • Be a key component in developing the effective planning and execution of the ecommerce strategy, working cross functionally with internal teams to ensure optimal product fulfilment and the quality and timely publishing of all web content for the UK market.
  • Oversee all e-marketing content and the exploration & optimisation of digital sales channels
  • Oversee and lead digital / e-commerce projects
  • Analyse all digital campaigns to constantly optimise and improve ROI
  • Responsible for the attainment of financial targets for the digital / e-commerce platforms
  • Implement CRM strategy and deliver with support of digital marketing team

Profile Key Skills:

  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Able to work flexibly, to handle change and to manage and motivate the Marketing and digital teams
  • Hands on/operationally driven, whilst also able to function at highly strategic levels
  • Solid experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies
  • Able to accurately produce and analyse reports and documentation
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to use various computer systems
  • Self motivated, able to effectively prioritise and plan workload to strict deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and strategic vision with a customer focus
  • Effective leadership skills, managing team with vision and purpose.

Professional Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within luxury goods industry
  • 360 marketing experience across media, events, sponsorship, PR, digital and retail marketing
  • Experience in building marketing strategy at country level whilst aligning with global marketing strategy
  • Skilled at planning, organising, prioritising and executing simultaneous projects and activities
  • Team management, motivation and development
