The position of Business Development Executive is ultimately responsible for embedding and driving new business sales mentality to ensure consistent regional direct client profit growth, exceed sales revenue targets and increase the TAG managed fleet by overseeing a creative sales division.
Key Responsibilities, Duties & Accountabilities
- Charter Sales & Business Development: Use proven historical tactics to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and markets. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners within charter sales. Drive new thinking and ways of generating revenue and cross sell all TAG products where possible. Have an active interest in Aircraft management to support Aircraft Management Business Development efforts with introductions to relevant clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure successful revenue generation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic initiatives. Input to pricing policy and commercial strategy with the support of management. Maintain oversight of contractual liabilities of all charter trips sold and support the team. To work with all levels of Management with little supervision.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic sales activities to ensure repeat business and market competitiveness. Manage client credit decisions and support the sales team exceed AG owner expectations for charter hours sold annually.
- Innovation: Identify and implement best practices to drive efficiency. To represent TAG externally at industry functions to promote and raise the TAG reputation and brand. Periodically review work processes and service levels. Identify opportunities for strategic alliances, partnerships with channel partners and new events to raise the profile of TAG in respect to Charter.
- Contribute individually and as a team to the growth of the TAG Managed Fleet across Europe.
- Periodically review work processes, efficiency, and service levels.
- Drive activity to reach targets and company KPIs to maximise revenue.
- Create/organise bespoke training based on the needs of the team.
- Responsible of, with the support of the COO, all business development department annual budgeting.

- Liaise with current aircraft management clients to push sales opportunities.
- Input to pricing policy and commercial strategy with the support of the COO.

- Maintain oversight of contractual liabilities of all BD sales products.
- Drive new thinking and ways of generating revenue.
- Support the opening of new offices or BD Hub locations.
- To represent the department at internal briefings at management level.
- To work with all levels of Management and Supervision.
- To represent TAG externally at industry functions to promote and raise the TAG reputation and brand.
- Train the BD sales team to use the company and industry databases to identify, target and close new business opportunities.
- Integrate the use of Dynamic CRM database.
- Support the team in raising management proposals and quotes for new clients.
- Support the team in designing operational cost illustrations for clients, in conjunction with the TAG Finance Director / Accounts team.
- Identify opportunities for non-standard aircraft management products (Part NCC, Services Agreements, etc.), finance products (operating leases), niche products and wider areas of the TAG business.
- Identify opportunities from the TAG businesses to produce marketing literature and PR to be sent to direction regional clients.
- Identify opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships with channel partners.
- Identify opportunities for new events and exhibitions to raise the profile of TAG in respect to Charter and Aircraft management business development.
