We’re looking for a caring, compassionate individual who’s passionate about helping others thrive. In this role, you’ll support colleagues in delivering high‑quality, psychologically informed, and culturally sensitive floating support to people living in the community. You’ll empower individuals to maintain their tenancies, build independent living skills, and feel confident integrating into the wider community, all while championing safeguarding, equality, and our organisation’s values.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, psychologically, trauma-informed and culturally appropriate floating support to service users in the community.
- Empower individuals to maintain their tenancies, develop independent living skills, and integrate into the wider community while upholding safeguarding, equality, and organisational standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships with service users from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Effective organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to keep accurate and confidential records.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
- Experience of supporting vulnerable people.
- Experience of working in a person‑centred, trauma‑informed way.
- Experience of working within safeguarding frameworks.
- Good standard of general education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent).
- Willingness to undertake relevant training (e.g., safeguarding, health and safety, trauma‑informed practice).
- Full UK driving licence & access to own car for work purposes.
