Package range: $111,798 - $132,585. Package includes salary ($98,499-$116,813 per annum), employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. (Salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Electrical Trades students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities:

  • 1 x permanent full-time – Albury Campus
  • 1 x permanent full-time – Tamworth Campus
  • 1 x permanent full-time – Wagga Wagga Campus

Essential Requirements:

  • Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent.
  • Applicants must hold an appropriate NSW Electrical Licence issued by the Department of Fair Trading (that is, an endorsed NSW Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate) or be eligible to obtain prior to confirmation of employment.
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years recent post qualification experience relevant to your industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.

Applicants for part-time positions should note that participation in the 14‑week PTL program requires full-time attendance of 35 hours per week throughout the 14 week program.
