About the role: We are seeking outstanding educators to inspire and mentor the next generation of Accounting students. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Meadowbank Campus. We will also be building a Talent Pool valid for 18 months for this position and the following locations: Granville, Hornsby, St Leonards, Liverpool, Maitland, Nepean, Newcastle, Ourimbah, Port Macquarie, St George/Kogarah, Campbelltown, Bankstown, Coffs Harbour, Shellharbour, Albury, Tamworth, Ultimo, Blacktown.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance student learning by delivering hands-on, practical training. Our teaching section focuses on providing high quality, industry relevant training, delivered to a wide range of learners, including school students and those pursuing post trade qualifications. Share your skills and passion for your industry, helping students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals.

About You: To be successful in the role, you will:

  • Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Diploma of Accounting or hold qualifications in a related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
  • Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly Desirable:

  • Membership of a relevant accounting professional body (e.g., CPA, IPA, CA).
