Applewood Care Home in Bramley, near Tadley, is looking for a caring and creative Lead Activities Co-ordinator to help residents enjoy every day.
Location: Applewood Care Home, Coopers Lane, Bramley
Hours: 40 hours a week, working alternate weekends
Shifts: 10-hour shifts, 9am to 7pm
Pay: £14.50 per hour
This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys bringing people together. You will lead the activities at Applewood, making sure every resident has something to enjoy, from group sessions and days out to quiet one-to-one time.
What You Will Do
- Support residents with group activities
- Provide one-to-one activities for residents who are cared for in bed
- Organise events such as fetes, open days and parties
- Plan and run trips out to local places of interest
About You
- Experience of working with people living with dementia
- A clean driving licence, and happy to drive the home's Caddy
- Warm, patient and good at encouraging people to join in
