Senior React Native Engineer | Contract

📍 Outside IR35 | 2 days a week in Leeds | 6‑Months initially (highly likely extensions)

🚀 Senior React Native Engineer needed to work alongside our existing contractor on a high‑profile Xamarin → React Native migration for a customer‑facing mobile app.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Building new React Native features for iOS & Android

✅ Pair‑programming & knowledge‑sharing with the current contractor

✅ Guiding best practice & mentoring the wider dev team

✅ Integrating with REST / GraphQL APIs

✅ Supporting AWS / Azure cloud services

✅ Owning CI/CD pipelines & app‑store releases

What You’ll Need

✔️ Commercial React Native across multiple projects

✔️ Deep understanding of React Navigation & mobile app lifecycles

✔️ Proven experience shipping to App Store & Google Play

✔️ CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.) – Firebase a plus

✔️ Track record of technical leadership / mentoring

✔️ Bonus: Xamarin migration or legacy modernisation experience
