I’m currently working with a FinTech company expanding across Europe who are looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to help build a modern, enterprise-level data platform. This is a greenfield project, so you’ll have the chance to help shape the architecture and tooling from the beginning rather than maintaining legacy systems.
In this role, you’ll be working across the Azure and Snowflake ecosystem, helping build a mission-critical data platform that will support the company’s continued growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Working across Azure and Snowflake to support enterprise data workloads
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to build a modern data platform from scratch
- Contributing to architecture decisions and engineering best practices
Tech you’ll get to work with:
- Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric, SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage)
- Snowflake
- Python
- SQL
- Terraform / Kubernetes
What they’re looking for:
- Strong SQL experience
- Experience working with Azure data technologies
- 1+ year of Snowflake experience
You don’t need experience with the entire stack - they’re open to people who are strong in Azure and SQL and want to continue developing their Snowflake expertise.
Culture:
The culture is very much “fail first, learn fast.” Learning and development are taken seriously, and they’ll fund any tech course or certification you want to take. You’ll also be able to choose the device you work on — Mac, Linux or Windows.
If you’re interested in hearing more, feel free to apply or message me directly, and I can share further details. No need to have an up-to-date CV right now.
