I’m working with a sports tech company building computer vision products used at the very top end of global sport. They are partnered with major golf tournaments, F1, NASCAR, and the biggest tennis events. The models you work on will be seen by millions.
As the Head of ML, you’ll lead a small group of strong ML engineers, set the direction, and stay close enough to the work to actually ship.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading development of production-grade computer vision models
- Setting the ML roadmap and standards
- Working closely with engineers to get models from idea to deployed to reliable in the wild
- Owning quality, performance, and real-world impact of what goes out
Tech: AWS (flexible if you’ve used other cloud)
Nice to have (not essential): Experience working with video or real-time vision systems
What they’re looking for:
- You’ve taken ML models into production, not just experiments
- You’ve led or mentored engineers (small--mid sized teams)
- You don’t need the “Head of” title already; you could be a Lead, Principal, EM for example.
- Computer vision experience is a strong plus
