I’m working with one of the most exciting AI startups in the US right now, who are building out their first engineering team in London. They’ve already scaled rapidly in the US and are now launching a high-performance engineering hub in London - backed by a team that includes engineers and operators from the likes of Google DeepMind. Now they’re looking for exceptional junior engineers who want real ownership early in their careers. This is not a traditional graduate role. You won’t be buried in layers of management or stuck fixing minor bugs for a year. You’ll be building real products, shipping production code, working directly with senior engineers in New York, and helping shape the future of a fast-scaling AI company from the ground up.
You’ll spend your first 2 weeks onboarding in New York, working directly alongside the US engineering team before helping build out the London office.
You’ll get:
- Huge ownership from day one
- Direct exposure to senior US engineers and founders
- AI-focused product work
- Extremely steep learning curve
- Real responsibility early in your career
- A 2-week onboarding trip to New York
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll help build AI-powered software products used by major businesses operating in logistics, supply chain, and the physical goods economy. The work is highly practical, fast-paced, and customer-facing. You’ll be:
- Building full-stack applications using Python + Next.js
- Working across multiple live client environments
- Collaborating daily with engineers in London and New York
- Solving real operational problems with AI
- Taking ownership of projects far earlier than most junior engineers get the chance to
Essentials skills:
- Strong academic background (top Russell Group / equivalent)
- 0–2 years’ experience
- Strong internships or early engineering experience
- Interest in AI / emerging technology
- Independent mindset and strong ownership mentality
This is genuinely one of the strongest junior engineering opportunities in London right now for someone who wants to grow quickly and work on meaningful AI products inside a top-tier startup environment.
