Fully remote. A front-row seat at the company defining how the world's biggest enterprises actually use AI. You'd be walking into Fortune 500 companies and turning frontier technology into systems they run their business on. This is the role for the engineer who's tired of watching great work die in pilots that never ship.
What's in it for you: £170k–£220k, base plus OTE. Real ownership. You own outcomes end to end, not tickets. You see the number move. The rooms that matter. Embedded with Fortune 500 teams, advising senior stakeholders, shaping how they adopt AI. Ground floor of a category. A company backed by top-tier investors and recently named among the most important defining the agentic era. Early enough to shape it, proven enough to be real. You'll get sharper, fast. Closer to real production AI usage than almost anyone in the market.
Why this role exists: Intelligence is no longer the bottleneck. The models are good enough. What stops AI agents reaching production is everything around the model: the architecture, the deployment, the observability, and getting an organisation to trust the system enough to let it run. Closing that gap is the job.
What you'll do:
- Embed with customers. Learn their business and their stack.
- Design agentic systems that solve a real, expensive problem.
- Deploy, configure, and optimise those systems in production.
- Build custom agents, tools, and workflows in Python.
- Own it from first workshop to live system to measurable result.
- Feed what you learn back into the product.
How they work: Start narrow. Ship this week, not this quarter. Make failures loud and early. Add complexity only when the evidence demands it.
You'll need:
- Strong Python, with real API and systems-integration experience.
- A track record in a customer-facing technical role: solutions engineer, sales engineer, forward deployed, or technical consultant.
- Fluency with LLMs, AI agents, and modern GenAI patterns.
- The rare mix: you can hold a room of senior stakeholders and a terminal in the same afternoon.
- Bonus: RAG, database design, human-in-the-loop systems, or open-source contributions.
