AWS / Data-focused Solution Architect – up to £130,000 + benefits
Mostly remote | Central London, a few times a month
I’m currently working with a small to medium-sized business who are classed as an AWS top-tier (Premier) partner. There are fewer than 100 companies worldwide at this level!
In this role, you’ll be leading major AWS migrations for household-name companies and well-known brands. You’ll get exposure to a mix of domains, including:
- FinTech
- Travel
This is a proper architecture role, not a cosmetic one. You’ll have a real say in decisions and be able to influence how systems are designed and built.
The role is mainly data-focused, covering AWS migrations, application modernisation, DevOps platforms, and AI-led solutions.
The team is one of the big selling points. It’s a high-trust environment with genuinely strong engineers. No micromanagement. The tech is cool, but the team is a big selling point. They have a really good culture!
You’ll own things end to end: from pre-sales and discovery, through system design, to cloud strategy and delivery.
There’s no people management. It’s about mentoring, guiding teams, and staying hands-on with architecture.
The money is really good - up to £130,000 base, plus bonus, good pension, and they’ll pay for any courses or certifications you want to do.
For this role you will need to be based in the UK.
