About the Job:
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in spearheading all operational facets of our brand. This role will centrally be supporting explosive growth across ONEUROPE.
This role is responsible for driving excellence across people, customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability metrics. You will be responsible for executing the strategic operational plan and supporting the Director of Operations in strategic design that delivers long-term growth.
The Operations Lead is instrumental in building a strong operational foundation, fostering a culture of high performance, and ensuring the successful establishment and growth of our brand presence in both existing and new markets.
Central to your role is building deep franchise operating capability by improving and executing the tools and processes that drive sales and guest satisfaction. Partnering with People to ensure that we are fostering talent across all levels of our franchise operators.
The Day-to-Day:
Build People Capability
- Hold our European Franchise partners accountable for achieving targets related to people, customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
- Lead by example as a culture champion, embodying Taco Bell principles in all aspects of operations.
- Leverage the organization\’s culture and people capability to fuel brand performance and drive business results.
- Partner with people to successfully plan people and training for new market entries.
- Lead our European Partners in championing operations through culture and programs such as Team Challenge, Taco Bell connect and RGM celebrations
Build the Brand:
- Implement strategic initiatives to support the execution of the brand standards in a market.
- Drive activities focused on building brand awareness, loyalty, and community engagement within the new market.
- Partner with People and Training to onboard new markets and Franchisees.
- Facilitate the European Ops Forum – including strategy, agenda and relationship with Senior Fz Operators
Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience
- Provide leadership and guidance to each market to ensure consistent customer satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.
- Utilize customer feedback programs to coach and improve execution at the restaurant level.
- Train, coach, and hold accountable Key Franchise Operators for executing the Taco Bell Operating System and delivering brand standards, including food safety.
- Act with urgency to address any brand protection issues and ensure absolute compliance with local regulations related to occupational safety, health standards, and company safety and security policies.
Grow Sales, and Profits
- Partner with each Manager in the market to drive sales growth and exceed previous performance benchmarks.
- Provide training and operational support for marketing promotions to maximize their impact on sales.
- Lead efforts to achieve profit targets in every restaurant by optimizing operational efficiency and cost management.
- Work closely with Franchise Operators to identify opportunities for improving problem-solving and planning skills through hands-on demonstrations.
- Own and lead Fz business reviews, including annual business reviews and Qrtly KPI reviews with operators
- Leverage relationship with REX ensuring that process is optimized to drive enablers such as speed, accuracy and AOV.
Is This You?
- Dynamic, energetic, and positive leader with a proactive approach to driving business results.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, team development, problem-solving, strong communication, and time management.
- 10+ years of Restaurant or Retail Management experience, with a track record of recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
- Extensive Quick Service Restaurant or Retail experience, with a proven ability to balance product quality with fast service times.
- Experience leading multiple managers across multiple high-volume units in an area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with exceptional team-building capability.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
