Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of London’s oldest private members’ clubs, a home to a community of members with a passion for the creative arts, literature, and business. From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme of events for members, the club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Sommelier to join our growing team in London. Successful Sommelier applicants (WSET Level 2 preferred) will become part of a fun, dynamic team working across all aspects of hospitality. The sommelier is expected to fulfill a 45-hour work week spread across 4 days, with 3 days off.

In a nutshell:

  • Curate and maintain the wine list, ensuring accurate vintages and stock levels.
  • Recommend and pair wines to complement menu offerings.
  • Support wine deliveries and maintain proper storage in the wine cellar.
  • Ensure the wine cellar is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Assist members and guests with wine selections, providing knowledgeable and professional service.
  • Contribute to staff training in wine and sake knowledge.
  • Collaborate with F&B teams to support private events and stock needs.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
