Our Atherton team is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Advocacy, Communications and Engagement department as a full-time Events Officer on a maximum term basis until 30 June 2027. The Events Officer is responsible for leading the delivery of the Tablelands Regional Council (TRC) Five-year event strategy with the objective of promoting community celebration, health and wellbeing, and economic development. The position manages all aspects of TRC civic events program, tourism and heritage assets in accordance with TRC Policy, risk management framework and WH&S requirements.

Base salary package from $91,814.31 per annum ($3,531.32 per fortnight).
Locality allowances (if eligible).
Attractive work/life balance - 72.5 hours per fortnight.
