A newly created role within our Autocentre business, our Designate centre managers will be a vital support to our management team. As a Designate centre manager, you will be supporting local centres within the area within a reasonable travel time and leading the in-centre teams with support, encouragement, and motivation. No two days are the same so you will need to be open to change, adaptable, and ensure that the team are on board and motivated to constantly move forwards with the everchanging environment that adapts to meet our customers’ needs and demands.

This experience will set you up to successfully run your own allocated centre when an appropriate vacancy arises. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, you will be there to support and engage the team to drive a culture that is professional and ensures that the customer’s journey delivers a fantastic customer experience, helping the team to focus on achieving amazing results and building your centre's reputation for excellence.

Skills and experience

  • Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
  • Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
  • Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience of managing P&L and optimizing profit
  • Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
  • Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
  • Good time management
  • A current valid driving licence
