Placement Visa Type: J1 Exchange Visa
Salary: Salary rates vary but participants can expect to receive approx $15.00-$25.00 per hour and upwards for 32-40 hours per week. This may vary between different establishments. Overtime rates also vary and may be available during busy periods. Tips are normally shared between employees.
Accommodation and Meals: Many placements come with live-out housing. The deduction for accommodation and meals is approximately $600.00 USD per month and upwards which is paid monthly from salary. Some host properties provide housing at subsidised rates.

- Trainee: Graduates of Hospitality and Culinary related degrees/diplomas: Hotel Management; Culinary Management; Tourism, with 1 year related experience. Or participants with 5 years related experience.
Age: Normally participants will be aged between 18 and 35.
