We are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary School Supply Teacher who can bring passion and energy to our Secondary School Team. As a Supply teacher, you do not have to commit yourself for any period of time; you can simply plug a short gap for a few weeks if you're waiting to start a new job or stay for years if you wish! The choice is entirely yours and remains flexible at all times. There are no set amount of days you would need to work each week; you can simply work 1 day per week or a full 5 days a week if you like.
You will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons to a diverse group of students across different primary schools across Stevenage. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred; however, an Overseas UK NARIC or experience as an Unqualified Teacher will also be accepted.
You will need to:
- Work as a Secondary School Supply Teacher by delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the classes you are assigned; however, it is always recommended to have an emergency lesson planned!
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Secondary School Teacher.
- Qualified Teacher Status, Overseas UK NARIC or experience as an Unqualified Teacher.
- Confidence in maintaining a good code of behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
